THE ROOTED VILLA

The project is a villa design for an Indian family settled down in Dubai, but Indian at heart. They expressed the desire for a feel close to that of their hometown in Calcutta, India. The couple would primarily occupy the villa with kids visiting them.

The design concept is thus rooted in Indian culture, and simultaneously responds to environmental constraints of Dubai. Scales of the project vary from grandiose to coziness to cater to a large family along with the smaller spaces for the couple.
