Project Description

Creating a school for visionary clients allowed us to create a building that exceeds the notion of a 'box'. It takes into consideration the need for various scales of architecture catering to varied age groups in an institute. The finger-like design creates this scale variation with smaller courts for younger kids. These smaller courts also act as spillovers from spaces like Auditoriums, etc. The larger lawn acts as an open space catering to physical activities. Double height volumes punctuate the front façade which caters to class-level semi-outdoor activities and also adds color to the neutral façade.

The project also takes environmental aspects into consideration and ties them into the design. Integration of light shelves and colored screens, for example.
